I suspect it's sometimes deliberate to muddy the waters around his decision and thought process but also often just who is and he's just totally reactionary without much long-term planning. We're already seeing Maxwell's legal team trying to use this to her advantage, but I am not sure she can help Trump to distract from the demand for the Epstein files to be released. If she does come out and say it's all a Dem lie, I can see some hardcore MAGA buying that, but not all. A tangled web!
I totally agree with your IG post re Google stealing the IP of content creators. There's no other way of dressing this up - it's theft on a gargantuan scale. AI technology is already transforming the world, and this change is only accelerating. I could almost stomach big tech using everyone's work to feed the LLMs if this were being done purely for the betterment of society as a whole. But it's not. It's about profit, pure and simple, and that's what makes me really sick about the whole thing. It’s not the content creators who are getting paid; it’s those orchestrating the world’s biggest heist in plain sight who are reaping the benefits.
